Medi‑Market Group Celebrates Its 100th Point of Sale in the Benelux and Strengthens Its Model for Accessible Everyday Healthcare
Nivelles, 24 April 2026 – Medi‑Market Group reaches a symbolic milestone with the opening of its 100th point of sale in the Benelux. Twelve years after its creation, the Group confirms sustained growth driven by a clear ambition: to make health and well‑being expertise accessible to as many people as possible.
From a pioneer of accessibility to a responsible facilitator of everyday healthcare.
Founded in Belgium in 2014 with its first store in Gosselies, Medi‑Market has grown into a European player now present in the Benelux, Italy and Spain, with a model focused on accessibility to everyday healthcare. The Group has been built around a unique, clear and structured value proposition, combining a local network of parapharmacies (100 in the Benelux and 178 across Europe) and pharmacies (28 in Belgium) with a strong digital presence.
This development is supported by teams made up largely of trained healthcare and well‑being professionals (dietitians, pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, naturopaths, aesthetics specialists), who receive continuous training. It also relies on a strong product offering (more than 12,000 references in parapharmacies and over 2,000 references in pharmacies), enabling the Group to meet the diverse needs of its customers within a responsible and compliant framework.

A strong and selective growth trajectory
Now present in five countries and employing 2,500 people, Medi‑Market continues a progressive and selective growth trajectory, designed for the long term. In 2025, the company achieved a turnover of €530 million and recorded annual growth of nearly 30%, demonstrating both the strength and the attractiveness of its model.
In the Benelux, this momentum will translate as early as 2026 into the opening of around fifteen new points of sale and the creation of approximately seventy additional jobs. At European level, Medi‑Market aims to expand its network to around 400 points of sale by 2028.

In a context of increasing pressure on healthcare systems, Medi‑Market is evolving its model to strengthen its upstream role in healthcare pathways, focusing on prevention, information and guidance, without ever replacing other healthcare players such as doctors and specialists.
In this perspective, Medi‑Market is exploring, in partnership with healthcare stakeholders, simple and regulated initiatives such as improved access to certain blood tests when they can contribute to earlier care. A partnership with LHUB ULB has recently been established to develop this type of service within a strictly regulated framework.
