Medi-Market Italia closes 2025 with +64% growth and a tenfold expansion of its network in 5 years

Milan, February 2026 – 2025 was a year marked by strong growth for Medi-Market Italy, which closed the financial year with €133 million in revenue, recording a +64% increase compared to 2024.
Three strategic pillars have guided this development: strengthening the operating model, expanding the network, and investing in people.
- Business consolidation and strengthening of the operating model
Medi-Market’s revenue is growing thanks to new openings across the country as well as the performance of like‑for‑like stores, which posted double‑digit growth, confirming the robustness of the model and its ability to deliver strong performance across the existing network.
Growth in recent years shows an uninterrupted trajectory: from €8 million in 2020 to 2025, revenue has increased more than 16‑fold, with an average annual growth rate above +75% and double‑digit gains every single year—evidence of extraordinarily rapid and sustained expansion over time.
This growth also takes place within a context of strong Group‑level development: Medi-Market has expanded its international footprint with its first openings in Spain and the Netherlands, reaching €530 million in total revenue and over 2,500 employees. These figures reinforce the Group’s positioning as an increasingly structured, recognized, and relevant player in the European parapharmacy market.
- Network expansion: reach and proximity as a competitive lever
The store network has grown tenfold, from 7 stores in 2020 to 70 by the end of 2025, with 29 new openings in the past year alone. Today, Medi-Market is present in 10 regions, 34 provinces, and 55 cities across Italy. In 2025, the company opened its first stores in three new regions: the Marche (Senigallia), Tuscany (Livorno), and Trentino-Alto Adige (Bolzano).
A key strength of the model is the breadth of the product range, which now includes more than 11,000 SKUs across over 200 brands. To ensure wide choice, store size exceeds 400 m² for Retail Park locations, while smaller urban formats are around 200 m².
Medi-Market stores record an average of 600 daily visits (network average), confirming the format’s ability to generate traffic and build ongoing customer relationships. In this context—and thanks to a model based on wide assortment, qualified advice, and competitive prices—the company has reached the milestone of 1 million customers registered in its database, enabling it to meet the needs of increasingly value‑conscious consumers and strengthen loyalty over time.
- Investment in people: new hirings and value creation for local communities
Alongside the growth of its business and network, Medi-Market has made significant investments in people. 2025 was characterized by major employment growth, with new hires both in stores and in headquarters functions.
The workforce has expanded from 55 to 660 employees in just 5 years. In 2025 alone, there were 280 new hires.
The company continues to focus on qualified professionals—particularly pharmacists and specialists (nutrition biologists, dietitians, herbalists, beauticians)—emphasizing skills, continuous training, and professional development.
