Medi-Market has won the 2015 Mercure Award, an annual prize awarded by COMEOS, the Belgian Federation for Commerce and Services.
The independent jury was particularly impressed by Medi-Market’s groundbreaking concept and unanimously selected it from over 30 submitted projects.
“This is a wonderful recognition that proves it is still possible to innovate in Belgium, despite challenges and resistance to change,” said Yvan Verougstraete, CEO of the Medicare-Market Group. “I especially want to thank all our team members for the enthusiasm, perseverance, and passion they show every day. Medi-Market’s expansion continues, with store openings planned in Ghent and Antwerp during the first quarter of 2016.
