Founded in 2014 in Gosselies (Belgium), Medi-Market quickly established itself as a disruptive player in the health and wellness sector. Our concept: to offer health, care and well-being products at accessible prices, in a professional, regulated and secure environment. This approach immediately gained the support of key partners – banks, investors and industry authorities – including official recognition by the Belgian Competition Authority.
This support enabled Medi-Market to lay a solid foundation for a sustainable model aligned with the market’s key challenges of accessibility, quality and transparency.
Structured and steady growth
Since its creation, Medi-Market has followed a carefully managed and progressive growth strategy across the Benelux region, strengthening its presence in Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in 2016 and, more recently, the Netherlands in 2025.
Medi-Market in Italy – dynamic development
Since 2019, Medi-Market has established itself in Italy with the acquisition of the 4 Italian stores of the Parashop chain, marking the start of operations in a country where customer expectations for health and wellness are particularly high.
This first step provided a solid foundation for coherent and ambitious expansion, bringing a new offering focused on accessibility, quality and transparency.

Spain represents a major milestone in Medi-Market’s European expansion.
With a dense network of independent pharmacies – similar to Belgium – the Spanish market offers strong potential for our structured and integrated parapharmacy model, which remains underdeveloped locally. This momentum allows us to showcase our expertise and introduce an innovative offering tailored to Spanish consumers’ expectations for health and well-being.
