For more than 30 years, Pink Ribbon has played a key role in raising awareness of breast cancer by promoting prevention and screening, as well as supporting those affected. A partner of Pink Ribbon since 2023, Medi-Market supports its initiatives aimed at informing the general public, breaking taboos and improving the quality of life of patients and their loved ones.
In 2025, on the occasion of Pink October, Medi-Market is proud to renew its commitment alongside the association and to actively contribute to this major public health cause.
Concrete actions in October
Throughout the month of October, Medi-Market mobilizes its pharmacies and parapharmacies to support Pink Ribbon’s actions. The association’s iconic pink ribbons are offered for sale and, for the first time this year, Pink Ribbon bracelets are also available.
Each ribbon and each bracelet sold directly contributes to the funding of concrete projects: awareness-raising initiatives, support for people affected by breast cancer, and funding for research. A simple gesture, yet one full of meaning.
A collective mobilization to spread the message
Beyond the solidarity-based sales, Medi-Market teams commit throughout the entire month: wearing pink, taking part in the Pink Walk, sharing prevention messages and encouraging dialogue are all integral parts of this collective mobilization.
Because the fight against breast cancer does not end on October 31, Medi-Market is committed to continuous awareness-raising throughout the year.
Pink Ribbon, a strong symbol for more than 30 years
Created in 1992 at the initiative of Evelyn Lauder, the Pink Ribbon campaign turned the pink ribbon into a global symbol of prevention, solidarity and hope. Today, the association continues to work to increase the visibility of breast cancer, encourage early detection, and support those affected and their loved ones.
